June 17- We went for our first check up. The doctor did an ultra sound and we saw the heart beat. What a relief. Everything looks good.
June 19- Big scare. Crissy was bleeding we thought the worst. We called the office to get checked out. The did an ultra sound and the heart was still going strong. We both had a sigh of relief. They said it was from test that were ran on the 17th. Still cautiously optimistic.
July 9- 10 weeks 1 day check-up went great. Baby is growing and heart is beating fine.
July 17- 11weeks 2 days. 1st stage sequential screening. Ultrasound looks good waiting on call from lab about blood work. Baby was moving during ultrasound. Trying to touch its toes. It was so exciting to see
the baby move around. The heart beat was also good 167 b.p.m.
July22- 12 weeks recieved call from doctor's office. The screening test results came back, everything is
good.
July 29- 13 weeks! First trimester is over !! Today's appointment went very good. The baby was even
waving during the ultrasound.
August 19- 15 Weeks! Today's appointment went good. Could not see wether boy or girl. Hopefully next appointment.
August 29- 17 weeks 3 days! Half way there! Just got back last series of blood test all number are good. No foreseen problems.
September 9- 19 weeks! Appointment went good the little heart was beating away. We go for level 2 ultrasound next week. Should be able to find out if its a boy or girl. We are keeping our fingers crossed that the baby has legs uncrossed.
September 15- 19 weeks 6 days! Today we found out what we were having. Its a girl!!! Everything is looking good. She is 11 ounces and her heart beat is 151bpm.
October 14- 24 weeks! Doctor appt. went well. We got to hear the heartbeat. Emily is moving around in mommy's belly alot. We can now see her moving!! 12 more weeks to go!!!!!!
November 11- 28 weeks! Today we went to the hospital for a NST. It was hard going back into the maternity ward. As we walked passed the room we were in with Ryan all the memories came back. When the nurse tried to set Emily's heart monitor she found the heartbeat right away. Then as she turn her back she lost it. She tried for a couple of minutes then she called the doc. in to help her. The Doc. brought in the ultra sound to find where she was. But as soon as the nurse put the monitor there she had moved. She did this for a while. So the Doc. used the ultra sound to check for the movement they needed. When she was done the nurse tried again. This time daddy tried, after a couple of seconds I found her heartbeat and was able to keep it for the 20 min. they needed for the test. 155bpm. She is doing good. Just likes to move alot.

Emily gave us a good laugh during the ultrasound. She stuck her tongue out at us. The tech said she never seen them stick their tongue out that far.
Dec 1- Everything is checking good. Next week we will be setting up the C-section. Which will be around Jan. 13th. Crissy will also be having NST's two times a week and having weekly ultrasounds. The doctors want to make sure that Emily is going to be here safe and sound.
Jan 13- Emily is here. After all the weekly test and appointments we finally were able to bring our baby home. She was 5 lb. 12.6 oz. 19" long. She is perfect in every way. She looks alot like her brother Ryan. We are so excited have Emily here, but also sad that we don't have Ryan and baby Quay here with us.
